Businessman Considers Building Two Casinos in Vietnam

Chairman of Tuan Chau Group, Dao Hong Tuyen, a prominent Vietnamese entrepreneur, has declared that he is intending to build two new casino resorts in the northern part of Vietnam. The businessman explained that the Group and its partners wish to build a gambling establishment in the Quang Ninh province and a second one in the Van Don Island District. Tuyen, also known as the “Tuan Chau Island’s King”, said that his company succeeded in proving its financial capacity, taking into consideration that Vietnamese regulators request operators who wish to open a land-based casino in this region to invest a minimum $4 billion in the project.
Thus, Tuyen explained that he will cover the $4 billion cost and will also add $3.5 billion to the Tuan Chau gambling establishment due to the fact that commercial banks and financial institutions agreed on providing the necessary loans. In addition, the entrepreneur explained that the company has also submitted the procedures regarding the design and plan of the upcoming project. Vietnamese regulators have also admitted that it is time for residents of the country to come play at casinos based in Vietnam instead of travelling to Macau, Hong Kong or Cambodia to gamble.
