New Jersey,
Delaware and Nevada are the first three American states which are starting to
make their mark on the online gambling scene. Delaware has already taken the
necessary steps by introducing its own Facebook-integrated play-for-free online
casino, while Nevada even managed to launch a licensed online poker room last
summer. New Jersey is also pursuing its own online gambling plans and
regulators are saying that online gambling sites will most surely be open by
November 23. Even so, New Jersey regulators have recently announced that they
are in the process of analyzing submissions received from operators who wish to
start an online casino, and
explained that some of them still need to complete the necessary paperwork in
order to be awarded with an online gaming license.
Taking into
consideration that California pro-gambling regulators did not manage to
convince the government to pass the gambling draft bill into law, New Jersey will
most surely take the opportunity to get ahead of the competition. Delaware on
the other hand is taking small steps by opening a free play Facebook based
mobile and online casino, which supposedly allows Delaware players to get
accustomed with the online version of traditional casino games without risking
losing any money.
