Justin Bonomo had a total tally of 2.722 million chips on
the second day of the poker event. He was leading the action in Hollywood
Florida as he defeated two players consecutively in the last level during the
evening. He surpassed the two million chip mark after the consecutive wins.
As per a tweet sent by Bonomo himself, he stated his
desire to take a minimum of 63rd place or higher so that he can rake
in the profits. However, it looks likely that he is eyeing the 1.7 million top
prize.
If he manages to win or even take the second spot, this
would be the second whopping win of his career. He can face stiff competition
from Amir Lehavot who is also present in this event. He too has a count of over
a million chips.
It was Jesse Chinni who started the day as the top chip
leader. By the end of the day, his total chip count was 868,000 which ensured
that he too could safely move to the third day and therefore avoided being
eliminated from the event.
The event is all set to get more exciting as Derrick
Cutler is closely following Bonomo with a total chip tally of 1,669,000. To
