Police Probing Site That Lists Casino Debtors

Police authorities have come across a website that has been naming gamblers who have so far failed in paying Macau casino debts. The site claims that it has aided in recovering an amount equaling 50 million Yuan which is 63.5 million Hong Kong dollars.
The site is also available in English language and they have extremely open records as photographs of such people along with details like date of birth, marital status are mentioned too. The police authorities are not sure about all these claims and they are planning to file an internal report against the site.
The site also puts on danger ratings for those candidates that are unlikely to pay off the debts. The site was initially started a year ago as a news and entertainment portal but it started this new business of naming gamblers since a couple of months. Macau managed to make 296 billion Hong Kong dollars from gaming revenues last year itself.
The site is of the opinion that they are willing to cooperate with the police and have a portal that can help in tracking down those gamblers who have been taking undue advantage of the money they have plundered.
The site opines that rather than opting to buy games for online casino and starting its own portal, they are more focused to bring back the money that the country loses because of such gamblers who refuse to pay the money that they owe. The information listed is derived from the creditors and they are likely to be authentic.
